Synopsis
When time changes everything around us, we try to bring the past to life.
Quite far into the twentieth century, Whitefield was a village resided mainly by Anglo-Indians, and retired individuals. It was the IT boom in Bangalore that attracted youth in large numbers to Whitefield, which is now a developed and sought-after suburb of Bengaluru.
Roads have been built, and tall buildings have risen from the ground, but if one walks around them, deeper towards the centre, through open wooden gates, and under canopies of flowering trees, one will find a hidden town inhabited by stories, waiting to inspire.
‘Time Weavers’ is a documentary about those people who have seen Whitefield through its age of transformation, and about those who preserve the past, live in the present, and have hope from the future.
